Keys to the Kingdom

150 years ago, the New Thought movement brought about a revolution in prosperity consciousness.  The truths that were born over a century ago ring truer and more powerful today than ever before, despite the financial challen-ges that many of you, along with Unity Church of Fresno,  have been experiencing this year, it’s a true blessing to feel that we are all in this together, and supportive of each other. In Unity, we know that all is grounded in prayer, and that prayer directs our action.

This year our theme has been Empowering People and Manifesting Dreams.  Every class, program, Sunday service, guest speakers and workshops was designed to be in alignment with our theme of empowerment. Some of the offerings that many of you actively participated in include, The Enlightened Leadership Program, The Twelve Powers class, The Art and Practice of Living with Nothing and No One Against You, The Discover Your Gifts class, the Youth and Family Education Department, the Women’s Glow Gathering, the Discussion Circle, The Back to Basics class, the On Line outreach ministry and the Volunteer Program are among the offerings that as a result of your active participation were deemed successful.

I am filled with enthusiastic expectation as we are leaning into next year over what we will accomplish through the 2011 Power of One theme and program.  How would you answer these questions:  Do you dare to prosper?  Do you believe that you have the power to create wildly successful lives right here, right now? The following quote from the Keys to the Kingdom Prosperity Program states, “The great spiritual masters of the ages have always taught that life is naturally abundant.  Lack, limitation, and poverty may be facts in our material world, they have said, but the greater truth is universal good and plenty.  To the enlightened mind, abundance is a spiritual reality that can never be altered by human circumstances.”

Your Board of Trustees and I are counting on you to join us as an active, integral part of our new life-transforming  programs that are aligned with the power of abundance principles?  Again, your active participation will bring about a quickening of positive change in your life, in our church and in the community. As you know, the vital work of our ministry is supported through love offerings and tithes, therefore, we ask that you join us in this prosperity affirmation:  “We affirm, claim and know that Unity Church of Fresno receives at least $6000 each month from channels known and unknown.  And so it is and so we let it be.”
